There’s nothing like the fresh, crisp country air to help you relax and savor the season! Inside our gates you’ll find fun for the whole family. Embrace your inner cowboy or cowgirl in our Kids’ Corral, with horse swings, rope-a-steer, and the popular Bucking Bronco Barrel swing! Relax on the family-sized tire swing, then set out for a stroll on our nature trails. The original trail takes you past one of our pumpkin patches, across the creek, alongside the corn and soybean fields, and through a wooded pasture. Our newest trail travels north to the farm pond before joining back up with the original trail. You may glimpse a rabbit, frog or turtle, or see the tracks of the deer and raccoon which are frequent nighttime visitors to the creek.
Explore the whimsical Gourd Garden before heading off for some vigorous playtime. Dig in the corn box, climb the playground equipment and hay bales, or challenge a family member to a rubber duck race. There are friendly horses, cows, goats, and chickens to visit, and more farm-themed play areas and agricultural exhibits to explore, but you may want to stop by the Schoolhouse Café first. Fill up on delicious smoked pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, brats, or freshly baked pie and desserts, all in the charming atmosphere of our authentically-restored one room schoolhouse.
Scenic tractor-drawn hayrides patch depart hourly, or more frequently on busy days. When you get back, head to the restored 1890s barn to catch a bird’s eye view of the farm from the lookout window in the upstairs loft.
And then there's the shopping...! Pick the perfect assortment of pumpkins, gourds, heirloom squash, and harvest decorations (straw bales, corn shocks, mums & more) outdoors, then head inside for two floors of unique merchandise. We carry lots of seasonal decorations, pumpkin accessories, handmades, novelties, t-shirts, and foods, as well as vintage and antique merchandise to bring that special touch into your home or garden. Pick up a caramel apple or bag of popcorn for the ride home, and start making plans for your next visit!
You won’t find a more relaxing setting offering a more complete country experience. Start a new fall tradition with your family this year!
